Visit from the ghost of Expos past....

This post is brought to you by the Scrapbook Expo 2010.

I picked up this scrapbook page kit from one of the booths at the Expo that year.  (I can't remember exactly which booth, but my gut tells me Shoestring Productions.)  They have been there every year I've gone.  The first year I went (2009) I picked up a super cute "baking" kit, with a huge cut-out of a chocolate chip, wooden spoon and other cute embellishments.

Last years kit was "Family".  This also counts as my Pink Stamper National Scrapbook Day challenge #7.  I JUST got around to opening the kit and putting it together!

Don't be afraid to use kits.  Remember that you don't always have to follow the picture they give you - you can customize it.  This kits was shown with two techniques I didn't use.  They brushed the edges of everything with a brown ink.  They also crinkled the flower, to give it a 3D look.  I didn't like the way these techniques looked.  I like the classic look of a nice, clear line.

Can't wait to add some spring pictures to this page!  Go get scrapping!

To be continued...
